There are so many courses around Myrtle Beach that it can be hard to choose a favourite. However, many astute visitors rank Tidewater as the number 1, while the highly respected Golf Digest publication placed it atop its list of South Carolina's finest.
Since its inauguration in 1990, Tidewater has grown in stature, and is now so well bedded in that it is always in immaculate condition. While the layout and its surroundings are truly beautiful, the key to Tidewater's success is that it offers a stern test whilst always remaining fair; there are certainly hazards out there, not least the expanses of water and sand, but good ball striking will always be rewarded.
Set alongside the Intracoastal Waterway, Tidewater has been dubbed ‘the Pebble Beach of the east coast', and is an outstanding golfing option for your next pilgrimage to Myrtle Beach.
