The ISPS Handa World Invitational for Men and Women will return to Galgorm Castle in 2022 as one of most exciting and innovative tournaments in world golf.

The event was formerly known as the Northern Ireland Open and proved to be the most popular event on the European Challenge Tour. ISPS Handa and Modest! Golf have now transformed this event into a truely global mixed tournament for men and women professionals, where everyone plays for the same prize money.

World Invitational 2019

The World Invitational was transformed into a completely new format in 2019 with Women being introduced to the tournament formerly known as the NI Open.

The $500,000 event couldn't have been scripted better with local favourite Stephanie Meadow securing her second professional victory and first on home soil. Fending off a challenge from the highest ranked player in the field, Charley Hull to finish on 6-under, one ahead of Hull.

In the men’s event England's Jack Senior beat his good friend Matthew Baldwin in a sudden death play-off.
