0800 043 6644Though not strictly a links course, the coastal breezes normally demand the same challenges around the 5,847 yard layout. This is relatively short by modern standards, but when the wind picks up, there is no shortage of difficulty.
Always extremely welcoming towards visitors, Abersoch and its traditional course come highly recommended for a North West Wales tour.
Caught this at the end of March and work to prep the course had been started. Greens were a bit slow due to needing a cut but suggest this may be due to wet weather.
The staff and members at Abersoch were extremely friendly and welcoming. Condition although only marked as 3 stars, could almost be graded seperatly, as the course is divided into the Links holes and Parkland holes. The links were great and very enjoyable, great views. The parkland holes were pretty wet and not upto the standard of the Links.
This was our third course of the trip and had heard mixed reviews so was unsure what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised by the course - it is short but tricky enough to make you think and plot your way around. The parkland stretch was in great condition and more the style of course I am used to. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.
The parkland side was very good but the links side very disappointing the greens were ok but the rest of it was very disappointing and unkept don’t think I will go there again
Great course and great condition
Challenging course, some very undulating fairways, beautiful location
Probably the poorest condition of a golf course i have ever played. First 12 holes were shocking. Holes 13-17 were 'flags in a field' type of holes. First 12 holes were actually really good golf holes, but the course was nearly unplayable due to the state of the fairways and greens. Very surprised, YGT weren't told by Abersoch about how poor the state of the golf course was. We were truly shocked when we saw the state of it. Will send Martin L a few photos to show how poor the course was on the front 9. Would be great to know what we were charged for Abersoch and whether there is a refund on offer.
Was 4 hrs 30 minutes
Another great value course that finished a great four days
Good challenge for all levels of golfer. Greens in good condition and consistent. Mix of links and parkland which we enjoyed. Recommend a stroke saver for first time players.
Well looked after at the clubhouse,, stunning views golf course in good condition,,was sunny but windy but just added to the challenge,, will play there again one day....
