The first half of the course is pretty dull, being flat with an up and down layout. The fairways were cut quite long and being wet had little run. The greens were average. The second half was a more challenging links layout with some interesting holes although a little confusing at times. The club house was rather basis and unattractive.
The golf course at Pwllheli is a fascinating blend of parkland and links, making it an extremely entertaining and enjoyable part of a golf tour in North Wales.
