On the shores of the Menai Straits, in the Royal Town of Caernarfon and under the gaze of Mount Snowdon, Caernarfon Golf Club is a championship parkland course with some of the best views in Welsh golf. Founded in 1909 as a 9-hole course, it was redesigned in 1981 to give golfers a fair, enjoyable test across all abilities.
The layout is predominantly flat with gentle undulations, so it's comfortable underfoot but still asks questions, particularly if the breeze gets up off the Straits. The scenery is the real show-stealer, with big panoramas of Snowdonia, Anglesey and the water never far away. You'll be doing well not to glance up mid-round.
Off the course, expect warm Welsh hospitality and solid practice facilities, including a covered four-bay driving range and dedicated short game areas. There's also PGA professional support for lessons and club fitting, plus a welcoming clubhouse with great food and an inviting 19th hole for a post-round pint.

Greens were poor, crows were pulling up grubs making a mess, areas of diseased green area with no grass.
