Beau Desert Golf Course may not be extensive in length, measuring nearly 6,500 yards from the tips, but it demands precision from the tee due to its narrow fairways. The greens, particularly the 18th, are generously sized but feature challenging undulations, resulting in the likelihood of a few three-putts. The course has proven its mettle by hosting Open Championship qualifying rounds on multiple occasions as well as the England Golf's County Championships, which was triumphantly won by the Wiltshire Golf Union.
One of the many delights of playing at Beau Desert is the opportunity to immerse oneself in the serene surroundings, with most holes offering a sense of seclusion amidst the trees. Furthermore, the course boasts a diverse and unforgettable collection of holes.
When considering Beau Desert alongside Whittington Heath and Little Aston, it becomes evident that it is a challenge to find three superior inland courses in the British Isles, with the exception of those found in Surrey and Berkshire.
