We were unfortunate in that the bar had no draught beer and the restaurant wasn’t open. There was apparently to be a shut down and changes from the next day. The guy on the bar was brilliant fining cold canned lager and some cheese and ham pastries. He also made up some cheese and ham rolls that were very welcome. This is a really tough course and the wind made it tougher. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating but the overall feel of the whole club was cold and negative.
Located on the fringes of the mountain town of Sintra, Belas Clube de Campo is perfectly situated for visitors to the popular holiday spots of Estoril, Cascais, and Sintra itself. The country club boasts an excellent array of outstanding facilities from a state of the art spa to tennis courts and the pinnacle of the estate the Rocky Roquemore designed championship golf course.
Roquemore has sympathetically merged the stunning landscape with exquisite golf course design to create a layout which is not only of the highest standard but also extremely environmentally friendly.
