Stunning Stunning Stunning, is all ou need to know, if in the area play it! Never been dissapointed when playing it (except for my personnal standard of play) always in great condition and a pleasure. Thank you. We ended our trip here, after 15+ years of travelling over to the Myrtle Beach area, to play your last iron shot over the water to the green, while players who have finished and are having a couple of well earned drinks in the rocking chairs on the veranda, cheer or boo your shot into the green or water is just the final bit of fun on this great golf course. Play it you will not be dissapointed.
The golf course at the Caledonia Golf and Fish Club is an amazing conversion of an old rice plantation, in a similar fashion to the outstanding True Blue project. Another similarity is that Caledonia was also designed by Mike Stranz, who has created a real masterpiece which ranks within the top-10 golf courses in South Carolina.
Caledonia's 18-holes has been designed with an incredibly creative eye, with large yet guarded greens creating a challenge for all level of golfers. The majestic oak trees that overhang the entryway into Caledonia, similarly shape the fairways of the golf course to provide a rustic feel, with flowers blooming on a semiannual basis to add to the beauty of the experience.
