The location was perfect , not too far to the golf courses and close to a large choice of restaurants and bars

The Dom Pedro Marina was an excellent venue for our annual Euro golf tour. The bar staff and the folks who looked after our breakfast buffet were excellent- really friendly and attentive. The transfers to and from the courses were seemless and worked really well. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was just a 2min walk down to the numerous bars and restaurants in the Marina. News restaurant in particular was superb.

I believe the hotel is about to close for a refurb - it needs it.

the hotel itself was fine,only a couple of minor points to mention so I will. Firstly only 1 lift working for all guests including many golfers with bags for the days activities, you could sometimes wait 5 minutes for a free lift. Secondly there was no bath in the room, a walk in shower is fine but at my age and playing 7 rounds of golf in 11 days a soak to ease aching muscles would have been a bonus. Lastly one member who worked in the restaurant obviously did not enjoy her job, all 11 days she could hardly raise a smile which in itself did not lend to any sort of rapport with her, it was only her everyone else was friendly and seemed happy to help.

For half the duration only one lift was working, very difficult with so many golf bags to transport! Reception good for booking shuttle bus but not great with other requests. I.e electric kept tripping in our room. The blamed the kettle I had requested (their kettle) after that I never got one. The pool area only had 5 umbrellas in 35 deg heat! The egg station at breakfast was only open a couple of times in the week.

This is my second time at this hotel. Faultless ⛳️

Perfect for a group playing golf

Couldn't fault it.....Loved the location, breakfast was great (even had a lovely professional singer which was a lovely touch our group remarked on...) Will definitely return

Perfect location in vilamoura. It's a tired hotel & in need of a refurb but very clean and perfect for a golf trip. Not luxury but the general lads golf trip isn't looking for luxury. I'd stay here again.

We as a group of 3 were booked in to a small 1 bedroom apartment, with a fold down bed and a small lounge area, no access to a balcony, after sizing this up, we had to ask for an upgrade, to a 2 bedroom apartment, which cost us another €400, a very disappointed start to our golf break.

The hotel was good as always. The only issue we had on this trip was the airport transfer on the Sunday. We asked for the transfer which was included in the package but when we got to the airport the driver said we had to pay €47. I have never had this issue before not sure how this can happen when the hotel staff should do this on a regular basis. A disappointing end to a good trip.

Excellent first class staff and accommodation

Budget room, budget hotel. Good for if you're just sleeping but not to spend any extended time here.

There were 8 of us, so we had 4 twin rooms. They were of a reasonable size with a balcony. Nice walk in shower and had a coffee machine. One or two found the single beds uncomfortable. Breakfast is really good and plentiful. We used the main bar a couple of times, it was quiet. All the staff were really helpful and had a smile on their face. The marina is only 5 min walk away.

Room was a good size but with two single beds next to each other in the room. Shower was big and no issues with the room at all.

Really good resort, close to everything you want and need. Breakfast ropey but apart from that a great place to stay for golf and evenings out.

Location superb - 2 minutes away from marina. Hotel inside was ok but good enough for what we wanted.

I would probably rate this at 3*+ rather than 4*. The rooms are adequate, twin beds comfortable enough but not wide. Breakfast fine, plenty of fruit and nice fresh rolls. Service from reception also always helpful

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinks at the pool bar were reasonably priced and good quality. The room was a good size, we were a group of 3 in one room so used the sofa bed which was very comfy

We love this hotel in every respect it’s like a well run family hotel

The room was adequate although the air conditioning was quite noisy. It was very clean and we had a lovely sea view. Breakfast was very good, and staff all very helpful. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as so many to choose from at the marina.

Lovely hotel, 2mins walk from the marina and beach.. room was fine if needing a little updating.. pool was absolutely freezing till about 4pm at night (in August!!) But plenty of loungers and sun from about 10am to 7pm.. breakfast buffet has good choice but very samey... 5mins free transfer to Dom Pedro golf courses... was there to golf so hotel was not priority...

The suite for four people was not what we thought we were getting there was no balcony and not a lot of room

We have been to the Dom Pedro Marina Hotel a few times now and it never lets you down. Excellent location in the center of Vilamoura for bars and restaurants.

Second time at this hotel. The rooms are basic a little dated but extremely clean so is the bathroom. They do have a coffee machine and mini bar in the room which is a bonus, but you only get 4 coffee pods. The breakfast is good, always fresh fruit and cereal, ham cheese and fresh bread and different kinds of bread cakes. There is always a choice of eggs boiled poached and scrambled, bacon and sausage. This is servedfood warming trays so they do refresh quite often. The staff all are excellent. You can get a free shuttle bus to all 5 DOM Pedro golf courses and this ordered from reception very handy.

Basic in certain areas, i.e. breakfast, however, great location and the 2 bedroom suite was big enough for our needs.

Friendly staff,near and clean

This was our groups second visit to Vilamoura and had previously stayed at the Dom Pedro Vilamoura Hotel. We chose the Marina Hotel for a change and found both to be excellent value for money. Reception staff always helpful to book the shuttle to the golf courses and both bar and restaurant staff courteous and pleasant.

Excellent service and facilities

Excellent location 200m from the harbour. Our stay was for four days on a B&B basis. Breakfast was buffet service with a wide selection of hot and cold food. Staff were friendly and very helpful with arranging golf course transfers. Would consider staying at this hotel again if we went back to Vilamoura.

This is a hotel we have stayed at before and would recommend it to anybody who wants a relaxing time and convenient location for both golf and the marina.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dom Pedro Marina hotel. The rooms were clean and well appointed and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

A comfortable and good quality hotel much suited to golfers but with minimal facilities/events for non-golfers. Staff excellent. Breakfast selection good and all good quality. Shuttle bus arrangements for golfers bizarre!!

Hotel was in a perfect position for waking into Marina. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. had problem with staff on reception when returning safe key and they wanted 14-75 Euros for two nights use, which I thought was ridiculous. The safe should be for nothing as we have paid for this facility and the staff were very cheeky when discussing this with them. Apart from this small misunderstanding Hotel was good.

As in previous years everything went like clockwork. We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco and speedily checked in and a lovely young man took all our luggage & clubs to our rooms. The only critism we had was that we didn't feel that the breakfast was as good as in previous years

Great Location, a few minutes walk to the main restaurants area. Rooms hot at night since aircon is off during the winter and opening patio doors allowed a persistent bunch of mosquitoes in! Good selection at breakfast and staff very helpful

The Hotel is ideally placed and perfect accommodation for a golf holiday. Most of the golf courses are within 10/15 minute drive and the marina with its bars and restaurants is a short walk. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, everywhere is spotlessly clean and the rooms are comfortable (some recently refurbished).

Overall ok but very dated

Hotel is in a great location and the staff are all helpful and friendly. Rooms are a good standard. The breakfast is okay and what you would expect without anything to raise it above the average.

Only problem we encountered was breakfast not starting till 7.30am With an 8.30 tee off time it left us a bit tight Other than that we have no complaints
