Co. Sligo Golf Club

In 1927, this remarkable landscape allowed Harry S. Colt, architect of Wentworth, Sunningdale and Royal Portrush, to redesign a glorious venue, fit to host tournament play. The fact that Sligo has continued to be awarded the West of Ireland Championship shows that the course, in spite of it's mature age, is still thriving today, and can stand up to the recent advances in golfing technology. Due to these improvements, the Championship Links has increased dramatically in length and measures at 7259 yards.

The quality of the course in conjunction with the outstanding scenery of the surrounding seaside, make Co. Sligo a glorious stop off on any golf break or tour.
