Lovely hotel with friendly staff and in the perfect location.

The Duck is a tired hotel in need of some renovation.The staff tried to make our stay comfortable. The breakfasts were poor especially the full Scottish which seemed to be made of cheap ingredients. The bar was good but ran out of our favourite beer which failed to reappear.I hate to give poor reviews but the Duck is not up to its advertising in any way.

Very Good

Location is perfect for golfing, the food, bar, restaurant and staff are all excellent. Only drawback was that I didn't think the beds were very comfortable.

The Ducks Inn is a special place - great location (a mass of great golf courses within 5 miles) in the lovely village of Aberlady. Malcolm is a great jovial host and he has a great team of friendly capable people. We enjoyed a great dinner and first class breakfasts - thanks

Great location and lovely restaurant and bar area. Nice outside seating area also. The rooms are very dated and small, could do with being refurbished.

Bedroom is dated shower was not very good bed not very comfortable but we are twelve guys out to play golf so it was passable clean towels when you wanted them that was a bonus
