Set on the breathtaking east coast of Fuerteventura, with the enchanting Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop, Fuerteventura Golf Club is a beautiful, yet challenging course, where the wind can be the biggest hazard. The club helped to stamp the island on the golfing map, playing host to the European Tour’s Open de Espana in 2004.
Located less than 10 minutes from Fuerteventura Airport, and mere moments from the hotels, beach and neighbouring golf course, the club is in an ideal location for visiting golfers. The course is designed around three lakes, making for an exciting round before you explore the rest of the island.

Bordered by lovely palm trees, the course offers amazing panoramic views of the Atlantic, and is equally as beautiful as it is challenging. Formulated around three large lakes, the intriguing course measures a modest 6,068 yards, but its par of 70 is a formidable target.
Within a few minutes of the coastline, the Fuertaventura golf club is perfect for some relaxing holiday golf during your next visit to the lovely Canary Island. Within a few minutes of the golf course are excellent hotels including the 5* Hotel Elba Palace Golf and the Sheraton Fuerteventura Resort.

Really enjoyed this course and it was in excellent condition both greens and fairways. Wind is the big factor when playing here especially on the par 3 holes.

Golf course well organised, some tricky holes

Good design, fat and tricky greens. A bit scruffy in places. Appalling bunkers - every one was a hard as concrete making it impossible to play a conventional bunker shot. 4 or 5 holes spoilt by residential development too close, meaning that the proper tees for those homes could not be used for safety reasons. The 18th tee is ridiculous.

The weather was hit and miss a bit like our golf but we enjoyed it. Would probably not come again though as we like to play different courses overseas.
