- 2 Rounds at Fuerteventura Golf Club
3 Nights, 2 Rounds
Set on Fuerteventura's east coast with the Atlantic as your backdrop, Fuerteventura Golf Club is a proper wind test and a great barometer of ball flight and course management. It helped put the island on the map when it hosted the Open de España in 2004 on the European Tour.
It's also brilliantly placed for a fly-and-play break. You're less than 10 minutes from Fuerteventura Airport, with nearby hotels and the beach close enough that you can be checked in and thinking about your first tee shot in no time.
On the course, three lakes shape the round and bring a real risk-reward element into play. You'll see them on multiple holes, either framing greens or asking for a confident carry, so it pays to pick your lines and commit. When the breeze gets up, those decisions matter even more, especially on exposed stretches where club selection needs a proper rethink and even short approaches demand respect.
Expect firm, running fairways in the drier months and greens that reward a tidy short game. The layout offers plenty of variety and challenge for all abilities, but you'll get the most out of it if you play with your head, keep the ball below the wind when you can and accept that par is a very good score when the Atlantic is blowing.
Who is this for?
Golfers looking for a convenient winter-sun option with a recognised Tour pedigree, quick airport transfers and the option to mix golf with beach time.
Who is it best for?
Players who enjoy strategic, wind-affected golf and want a fair but testing round. Ideal for groups and societies after an easy-to-organise short break with plenty to do off the course.

Bordered by lovely palm trees, the course offers amazing panoramic views of the Atlantic, and is equally as beautiful as it is challenging. Formulated around three large lakes, the intriguing course measures a modest 6,068 yards, but its par of 70 is a formidable target.
Within a few minutes of the coastline, the Fuertaventura golf club is perfect for some relaxing holiday golf during your next visit to the lovely Canary Island. Within a few minutes of the golf course are excellent hotels including the 5* Hotel Elba Palace Golf and the Sheraton Fuerteventura Resort.

The chipping and putting greens were of really high quality. The practice range is poor. With your round you get a complimentary 30 ball bucket for the range area. However, on your non-golfing days the charge is €3 a bucket (reasonable) but then they charge a €7 hire fee to use a mat !! 😡. Disgusting!!! The course itself was ok. A little short as we were only allowed to play off the yellow tees which had been put quick far forward. Tees, fairways and greens were impeccable quality. Sadly, all bunkers were unplayable due to lack of sand and were like corrugated concrete. A walkable course that only took 4hrs as a 4-ball. The fact that it is “on-site” is a massive bonus.

Really enjoyed this course and it was in excellent condition both greens and fairways. Wind is the big factor when playing here especially on the par 3 holes.

Golf course well organised, some tricky holes

Good design, fat and tricky greens. A bit scruffy in places. Appalling bunkers - every one was a hard as concrete making it impossible to play a conventional bunker shot. 4 or 5 holes spoilt by residential development too close, meaning that the proper tees for those homes could not be used for safety reasons. The 18th tee is ridiculous.

Reallycenjoyed it as mainly couples, it wasnt overly rushed and the golf was relaxed, particularly for my wife who is relatively new to the game. The club was well organised
