The actual golf course was in fantastic condition not a blade of grass out of place, just the facilities was very old and dated the club house from exterior was not too bad but they definitely need to modernise it, its a shame because it was a lovely course, the toilets/changing rooms have not been changed since they built it in 1982.
It may be a municipal golf course, but La Canada is fortunate enough to have been designed by two of the game's great architects. The two loops that make up the championship course were designed respectively by Robert Trent Jones and Dave Thomas.
