0800 043 6644Though not long, Langland Bay can be very challenging, particularly when the prevailing wind picks up. With a standard scratch of 69, the course is tricky, but the excellent views are enough to redeem any ugly scorecards.
The signature hole is the long par-4 sixth, which was designed by the legendary James Braid - a certain highlight of any golf tour around the Mumbles Mile and Swansea.
The course was in superb condition and as the weather was perfect the whole day was a delight.
Great course with outstanding surroundings and a great 16th hole
Very quirky but very enjoyable, one of the most picturesque courses we've played. Very friendly club. Not the hardest course but we did play on a perfect day for weather.
Windy
Beautiful but tricky!
Great course views spectacular.
Described as the Pebble Beach of Wales, the views are stunning! The course was in good condition and, again the sun shone
Amazing views and great service
A beautiful setting for a golf course with stunning views and a number of very interesting if slightly quirky holes. The staff were very welcoming and the course was well presented although the greens are a tad slow - Holes 8 & 9 plus 15, 16 and 17 are real highlights and worth the visit alone. A great day out!
Disappointed with lots of holes. Lots of holes could do with some guidance on where to hit blind tee shots.
Played in poor weather, which meant we were unable to enjoy what I, m sure would have been fantastic views. Would love to play again in better weather. Stay excellent, really friendly.
Some interesting holes right up on the cliff tops. Definitely one you need to play a few times to get your bearings off the tee.
We have always had a great time here - on & off the course - & second only to Pennard
Wonderful course plenty of challenges. Missed the green on Death or Glory but still a par!
Quirky course. Enjoyable but greens not good during our visit. Probably recent maintenance rather than a permanent problem.
Autumn maintenance on greens spoilt things but we understood
Fantastic course and a warm welcome.
A real mix here , some holes were a bit boring , short and easy approaches but at least 5 of the holes would have been good enough to be signature holes on most other courses . The greens are a great defence and very quick with difficult to read slopes
Course was hard as a result of the strong winds encountered, locals described it as "unusually tough today". Nevertheless we really enjoyed the experience and will doubltless return on a kinder day. The Pro shop was well stocked especially with ladies shoes, clothes and equipment, the pro was very welcoming. We had a pleasant post round late lunch despite there being a wedding reception about to start. Members we had encountered on the course were very friendly and proud of their club.
Annual tour Can, t wait for next visit
