Le Bristol Hotel
Le Bristol is a smart little base right in the middle of Le Touquet, ideal if you want a golf break where everything is easy. You're close to the town's restaurants and bars, the beach is nearby and the golf is the reason you've come, with Le Touquet's two headline courses just a short drive away.
For UK golfers, it's also a genuinely convenient trip. Once you roll off the Eurotunnel, Le Touquet is under an hour away, so it works brilliantly for a quick weekend dash or a short midweek reset. Get in, play, eat well, repeat.
Back at the hotel, the Ascot Bar is the obvious post-round meeting point. It's got a strong whisky line-up, cocktails if you fancy something lighter and enough buzz to keep the evening going without you having to trek across town in golf shoes. The vibe is relaxed and friendly, which is exactly what you want after 18 (or 36).
Le Bristol isn't trying to be a luxury resort and that's the point. It's good value, well located and geared towards golfers who care more about tee times and a good base than a load of flashy extras.

Accommodation at Le Bristol Hotel
Le Bristol has been part of Le Touquet's story for a long time. The town took a battering during World War II and the hotel reopened in 1948, then got back to doing what it does best, giving visitors a comfortable base in a prime spot.
Rooms here are spacious and simple, with a practical feel rather than anything fancy. After a day battling coastal wind or threading drives through pines, that's often all you need. You've got the basics done properly, plus English TV channels for anyone who likes to wind down with familiar viewing before planning the next day's tee time.
Where the hotel really scores is how easy it makes the off-course bit of a golf trip. You're right in central Le Touquet, so dinner plans are straightforward. If you're going seafood, Perard is a well-known shout and claims to be the birthplace of fish soup, backing it up with outstanding plates. The town has plenty of brasseries and bistros if you just want something uncomplicated and good. If your group fancies a more classic French menu, Flavio's is a local institution, with richer specialities like slow-cooked pig trotters and foie gras au sauternes.
Then there's the Ascot Bar. This is where rounds get replayed shot-by-shot, putts that "should've dropped" get discussed at length and someone inevitably insists they were one club short all day. The whisky selection is a highlight and the cocktail list is more than an afterthought, so it works for mixed groups too.
It's a golf-friendly set-up, especially if you're trying to squeeze in 36 over a weekend. Staff can often help with early breakfast requests and local tips for tee times and transport, and club storage is secure and straightforward. The hotel understands what golfers need without making a fuss about it.
Le Touquet itself is compact and walkable, with a good mix of shops, cafés and beaches. The town has a distinctly French seaside charm, and while it's busy in summer, it never feels overcrowded.

We were a group of 8 staying for 4 nights. All of us had nothing bad to say. We only had breakfast, but it was good and well stocked. Our room was well furnished and beds also comfortable. It's easy to get to the centre of the town and the seafront. So can't fault the location. Prior to arriving staff were helpful and we had allocated parking spots. Would not hesitate to return here.

My 3 friends all had nice rooms with walk in showers, I unfortunately had a bath I had to step in and the shower was poor, the rooms were all clean and comfortable. the massive plus was had a nice bar, reasonable prices, breakfast was OK typical continental breakfast, the disappointment with breakfast no hot food available, but it's a minor complaint. Would we stay there again 100% yes.

Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Good sized rooms for storing your golf clubs overnight. We stayed two nights, room was cleaned after the first night and had fresh towels. Location is great for access to shops, restaurants and bars. 5 minute drive to the golf courses.
