Was rushed on the course by the Marshall, a difficult course and time between games rushed

Arrived early and caddy master asked if we wanted to go early which we did, let us play as a 2 ball as well. Tough course but really enjoyable.

Enjoyed the course easy to loose a ball or two

What a wonderful golf course. Tight fairways, thinking required to keep the ball in play. Greens were lightning fast. The staff in the pro shop so friendly and helpful. Nice place for a bite to eat and pint afterwards too.

Very tight course with lots of drop offs and trees either side. They are nearly all red stakes so at least you can drop down the fairway

We had a lot of Rain on the day we played. The course was very wet. Fairways & Greens there was a lot of water laying. I will definitely go back to play it hopefully in better weather. A terrific course

Good day, a few issues with greens

No issues apart from would of liked the driving range to be open. Personally my favourite course of the holiday.

Greens were being protected due to being busy so were a little slow as was explained by the pro shop

Great track. Greens were quick, downhill putts were treacherous. Made to feel welcome by the Marshall and never felt under pressure with our society. Great day out

Excellent course strongly recommend

Great course. Course management was really key with some well thought out holes and well placed hazards. The facilities and pro shop was great with a really nice clubhouse.

Lovely course and well managed.

Very slow flights and long waits on the tee. Greens in poor condition as people not repairing their pitch marks. Usually immaculate but weather conditions recently too difficult for keeping it maintained.

Unfortunately the greens were in poorer condition than the other courses we played.Largely due to lack of rainfall which other courses seemed to cope with better.

Nice course layout greens were terrible but they did apologise before the round. Complementary range balls and water

The greens were a disgrace to Los Arqueros and how they can charge to play there in that state is beyond my whole group. Honestly it’s the worst condition of any course we’ve ever seen and we’ve been playing 20+ years in this area

Greens were in dreadful state, covered in both sand and animal footprints everywhere. Couple of holes on back 9 bit tricked up, with a 220 yard carry off yellows and another with steep slope rolling down into wide ditch whenever you land ball within 100 yards of it. Walked out of bar after ordering and still not receiving beer 20 minutes later. Have previously visited and been impressed, gone downhill massively

If you’re not straight off the tee you are in big trouble

This seemed longer than it was, tricky tight fairways at times but very enjoyable Nice clubhouse nice people

Course in good condition but high handicappers bring lots of balls !! No Sat nav in the buggies , very hilly

Narrow personally round it hard grass was cut perfectly but a lot more density ball didn’t roll as much as other 3 beautiful course would play again.

Great course and layout, with some tight holes and therefore a challenge for golfers of all levels. The greens were extremely quick and staff superb with advice and assistance. Would definitely put this place on your list if playing in this part of Spain. Some nice touches with flags and tee markers with the iconic image of Seve Ballesteros, and also different flag colours to assist In identifying pin positions on the greens. Overall superb.

Seemed to be golfers on the course that were on high handicaps, should not really be on a course of this difficulty, it's disheartening for them and frustrating for those behind them. Although we had booked a buggy through YGT the pro shop wanted s to pay for it, we refused and they allowed us a buggy to be sorted out on our return, we weren't charged.

Hard course for us we care between 12 and 28 in the handicap system

Good Course

Really difficult course, need to be very straight not to lose a ball. Great experience would like to play it again. The greens had been sanded but were still quick.

Very enjoyable course, quite difficult due to the hilly nature and tight but it was a great experience and a great start to the trip

Course was very good, greens covered in sand took the edge away overall, however understandable due to dry weather.

I have played some 450 courses around the world and I would say this course had the worst greens and tees I have ever played on. Very disappointing.

Overall a fun course to play as long as you are ready for needing to be very straight and, in some places, long. On the day the greens weren't in great condition, looked a bit diseased. Would play it again though.

tough course, most narrow course i have played, couple of our players were able to post decent scores the other 4 of us struggled

In future you should provide Full address details to get to the Golf Club so that it can be put into SatNav. Also the Clubs all expected vouchers to be provided.

Very testing course for all standard of golfers. Met on tee by starter who explained about the course. No caddy cart on the course disappointing in 37 degree heat but we had to take a compulsory ten minute break after nine holes to replenish our water stocks.

A very good course to finish a golf tour. The course design is a little quirky at times with very narrow fairways but overall a course that improves as the course goes on and one that is very suited to a more relaxing final day of golf after a few days of intense golfing holiday.

After a hectic travel day and some confusion about the inclusion of carts in our booking, overall enjoyable and fun round of golf.

Beautiful course and location. Some of the tee-offs were quite intimidating and demanding, great when it goes right though!

I liked it, but my drives off the tee are mainly straight so the course suited me more than my partners who were generally longer hitters with mild to strong fades. Some of the holes just weren’t suited to fades, with steep bankings on the left and steep gorges on the right flanking tight fairways. Good for straight hitters though :-) and someone mentioned that it was a typical Seve Ballesteros designed course. It’s a hilly course so, again, buggies were great, with the added benefit of these, unexpectedly, being included in the package. Lovely views from the restaurant. However, the restaurant didn't open until 11am so we couldn't even get a coffee before we played. Not the end of the world, and perhaps it was just early in the season. They were doing work in the restaurant area and it was open when we finished, although fairly crammed as the course emptied when the rain started late on. The group in front of us were really slow, losing three holes to the group in front. We let two two-balls through to move things along, but the first nine took 40 minutes longer than it needed to. We spoke to the Course Marshall at the turn and he asked the group in front to let us thorough after the 10th, which they did.

Facilities not very classy. Food below average. Course hard to read

Another good course, very tight and unforgiving on anything not straight, let down slightly by the state of the greens, some of the early greens were bare in patches they improved hole by hole.

Greens not in good condition and a 5hour round. Good facilities and clubhouse, friendly staff.

Front 9 difficult very tight off the tee in places. Back 9 bit easier overall pretty difficult although enjoyable.

It beats you up as a golfer. The middle section from 7th to 13th is BRUTAL!!!!

Beautiful club out in the mountains, very friendly staff and a well kept and very challenging course. Far better value for money than Chapparal and a beautiful setting for post round drinks.

A tough course, but a great experience. Buggies certainly required. Low handicappers may get around in 4 hours, but higher ones allow 5 hours.

A very tight course . Some very interesting holes. Very warm welcome and delicious food to finish the visit.

Friendly reception

I say it is a hard course but that is simply because it is so very hilly. Makes it a different challenge! Club selection very different. Very attractive course and YGT was welcomed in the Pro Shop. Nice chap seeing people off on the 1st Tee with lots of helpful advice. We played without a buggy - my preference - but you really know it at the end. Worth playing, good experience.

Top golf course

Course was lovely albeit a little hard for the ability of most of the party but it was good in a sense you had to think on your shot quite testing but again brilliant course

Extremely tight course which could remove the fun for most people. Me and my son fortunately hit solid shots on the tightest holes but this challenge and many blind shots make for a testing round.

This course is not being looked after, greens and tee boxes are awful> Seve would be embarrassed !!!!

This is an extremely difficult course to play, but the views were spectacular, the fairways were very well maintained, would certainly play again. On the web site is states evidence of a handicap is required. We had two golfers in front of us who clearly had no handicap as they struggled to even hit the ball, thus they slowed play and made it frustrating at times.

Tricky course. There are some great views but the slopes are difficult and we were very grateful for the buggy.

Arqueros Golf & Country Club is a very challenging course but totally worth it. The pro shop team were fantastic. I would recommend it to a golf society that enjoys a proper golf course and 19th hole

back nine has some fantastic tee shots need to plot you way around but great course

Played of the white tees recommend yellow to make it slightly easier

Very enjoyable course but you have to think about things as it is a tight layout. Staff helpful ad would definitely like to play it again.

This was our second experience of golfing in Spain, fast greens. Very glad to have the buggy, distance between some greens and the next hole quite long! Again, beautiful views and vistas all around, lovely to see the Peregrine falcons overhead. Very good value in the bar.

This was the least popular of the courses we played. Accuracy was vital and off the fairway meant a lost ball. This was a course stuck into an area which really should not have been used for golf! Carved out of hilly scrubland. Clubhouse facilities were very good.

A really stunning course. A very tight first nine. A great flow to the layout. Very nice clubhouse and shop.

1st Time to this course and would most definitely recommend it. Was in very good condition and had some very interesting holes.

This course is nice, there is a lot better out there. They book far too many close tee times. The pace was painfully slow. At one point there was 4 groups on 1 hole. And a 15 minute wait to tee off on another. Plan for a 6 hour round to play here. The time spoilt the round for us

greens and tee's were not in great condition, and if you cant hit a long drive off the tee (over 200m) then you are in trouble,good coarse but not great.
