If you like your Belek golf framed by umbrella pines and with water never far away, Gloria New Course will be right up your street. It's only a few hundred metres from Gloria Verde Resort and it's a proper resort test, with plenty happening from tee to green.
The course unfolds across undulating terrain where water comes into play throughout, demanding accuracy off the tee and precision into well-protected greens. The hole everyone talks about is the par-3 17th, an island green that will give you proper Sawgrass vibes. From the back tees it's around 165 yards, so it's not long, but it's one you have to commit to. It's exactly the sort of hole that can make or break your card, and it's the one you'll be replaying in your head long after you've left Belek.
It's a par 72 and the scorecard stretches from around 6,900 yards on the championship tees up to just over 7,100 from the very back set, so pick the right markers for your group and you'll have a much better day. The layout has earned its stripes on the tournament circuit, hosting multiple amateur and professional championships over the years. Big names including John Daly, Darren Clarke and Sam Torrance have all teed it up here, testament to the quality of the design and conditioning.

The New Course is characterised by the four large lakes that it encircles, and its testing tree-lined fairways. Completed in 2005, the course has done much to ease traffic on the Old, and is itself an excellent test of golf, stretching to 6,889 yards from the championship tees.
Also designed by Frenchman Gayon, the New Course affords terrific views of the Taurus mountains, and adds another string to Gloria's bow. Be sure to experience this delightful course during your golf holiday in Belek.

Not in the condition we have previously enjoyed. Tees in particular were quite poor!

You don’t ask about it hear but the driver that returned us to the airport was terrible. He drove very fast and was on his phone half the time. Whilst on his phone he pulled out of a hotel pick up in front of a coach who then got angry and chased us down the road shouting out of his open door! Did not rate the Noyun transfers very highly at all

We had the opportunity to play the new course during our stay, and overall it offered a fantastic layout with some truly memorable holes. The design is both enjoyable and challenging, with plenty of water hazards throughout—so accuracy is definitely important if you want to score well. That said, we were a little disappointed with certain aspects of the course conditions. The bunkers, in particular, could use improvement, and the greens were not in the best shape. Unfortunately, this did affect play, as a number of putts were knocked off line due to the inconsistent surfaces. On a more positive note, the food and service at the clubhouse were excellent. It was a great place to relax after the round, and the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, while the course layout itself is impressive, some improvements to the maintenance—especially the bunkers and greens—would really elevate the experience.
