New Course, Gloria Resort

Great facilities, nicer course than the Old. Lovely food.

Played off whites and was a monster. Changed to yellow tees after 6 holes Greens were in excellent condition

Top condition after all the maintenance work carried out recently-superb!

We played the Old Course as they had started maintenance on the New Course, the greens were heavily watered through the night and the ball skidded when putting and spike marks were many, looks like the course is is slightly worn in some places but overall okay.

Course was unavailable due to problems with greens

Purse was very busy but in great condition

I had forgotten how pretty the New Course is and a fair challenge, I prefer it to the old course.

Made us wait an extra hour for our tee time due to having no buggies . Rude staff. Greens were hammered and slow . Nice layout however

Better condition and course than the old, spoilt by a very slow group in front of us and a fast group behind.

Very busy, we were waiting quite a lot.

Round was over 5 hours so couldn’t order food afterwards as was closed. Course was in good condition

5+ hours for a game of golf is not great, basically waiting on every shot !

Could argue the greens were in better nick than the old course but still not worth £180

Great golf course, they put us out with 2 Swiss people a husband and wife I'm not sure she had ever played before, they were very nice but it made the round a little slow, but we were on holiday and not that worried about how long it took.

Beautiful course.

We did not play the New course, and we were all looking forward to the last hole, when you play onto the island. The course was open, so why did we play the Verde?

The fairways had been overspeed very recently and we're in process of recovering. Course well designed to keep the pace up as although lots of trees it was easy and quick to find your ball. The trees themselves rather than rough are the course's protection as well as water and judiciously placed bunkers around the greens. Flat enough for a pull trolley which was lucky as buggies and motorised trolleys weren't allowed on the newly overspeed fairways.

It’s was just okay nothing great had to play Same 9 holes twice as no buggies on other 18holes

I would rate 7/10 and the least spectacular of the 4 courses we played...played on the first day the course opened after over-seeding and overall condition was not brilliant...took us a good 10 minutes to find the 9th tee from the 8th green!...lots of construction going on around the course so felt like playing around a building-site for a few of the holes...no buggies available and no electric trolleys so we had to make do with pull trolleys...biggest plus at Gloria was the quality of the food

Although after maintenance no buggies were allowed so all had to walk. Nice easy walk & was quickest 9 holes we played. Didn’t have enough time to play all 18 holes.

The current construction work does not detract from a very enjoyable holiday golf course, the course fairways were superb greens were decent but some holes had some damage on them.

Gloria new course was being built on all around the course so there were diversions through building sites and debris and rubble lying around however the course was in good condition and was our most enjoyable of the trip

Everything was good about the course. The reason for the 3 star facilities rating was the outside areas were all being worked on so no external seating or outside bar.

Nice condition and an enjoyable game of golf.

My favourite course of the week Would definitely play again

Thoroughly enjoyed playing the course which off the yellows was not that difficult. It was in good condition, the greens were good and because it was late June there were hardly anyone out on the course and the pace of play was just what I would like.

Disappointed that there were new players put with us, then we had to rush as our 4 ball was holding up men behind us!!!

Course is in good nick apart from the greens which showed patches of wear and tear.

What I really liked about this course was the undulating fairways.

Had an enjoyable round but not having played it before we were not aware of the importance of ball placing and club selection, obviously a second round would be different!

For a hotel course, the Old is good fun and very well maintained. this is our third year at Gloria and we will be going again.

We always try to get early tee times, our 1st one was 9.58, later than normal, by the 9th things were backed up, there were 4 groups on the same hole. The next time we played it was earlier and we had a clear round. The fairways are undulating so you can get some bad bounces. There’s some interesting Par 3s and plenty of water to navigate. Course condition was excellent.

A thoroughly enjoyable time, on three occasions. I was paired up initially with two other players, and my wife drove the buggy. We played twice more with the same couple and it made for a great holiday.

A nice layout but very scruffy in places. Maybe the time of year and after maintenance or something.

Great course and helpful staff Downside was that as a pair we had others join us to make up four balls. Whilst they were lovey people we had language difficulties and were definitely not on the same level of golf.

We were let down here!!! Due to play 18 holes on the New Course we were bounced to front 9 on Verde & front 9 New....clearly Gloria were looking after and preferring their resident clients. I complained to Noyan who have taken the matter up with Gloria...PLEASE LET ME KNOW OUTCOME

Course in good condition for time of year and green’s outstanding. A bit slow but not really a problem.

Excellent condition and a joy to play. In our opinion slightly easier than The Old Course but there is more water to attract your ball. We would be happy to play this course again

Excellent course, Old slightly tips it. But challenging mix of holes. Excellent condition. Challenging week as it was raining, buggies not allowed in these days. However this did not distract.

Was told prior to going to course, there were no buggies available due to recent works, Ali (the YGT) representative in Turkey sorted us out an alternative course at Gloria, but on arrival the work had been completed and our original course was playable with a buggy, The greens were slow, guessing due to the work, but every enjoyable

we have played this course a few times and this is the best condition we have played it. I would definitely want to play it again.

A very nice holiday course, fairly easy, but a good golfing experience.

Got held up by group having a 'playing lesson'....should not happen. We find later tee times tend to make for longer rounds

I enjoyed the course but found challenging due to trees and water. Beautifully kept

New course is well laid out and quite a good test. Wish people would repair their divots! Over four hours but was enjoyable.

We enjoyed the course the water was a challenge but a good one the clubs we hired where great would recommend it all my mates

We were able to change our tee times on all 3 rounds which was much better for us. Sept 19th was very good quite quiet, a little busier on 23rd and we had a gentleman join us but he was very nice.
