This course is one of the hardest we’ve played in Belek. Longer than the rest and a good challenge. We had been told it had the best greens in Belek and not entirely sure that’s accurate. They were certainly the quickest and I don’t think there was a flat area on any of them! That said, pitch marks everywhere and people clearly not interested in repairing them. Two things let Nobilis down badly. The first was the attitude of the staff. The guy at reception totally ignored us as we walked in. Assuming we had to go to the pro-shop, we got an equally frosty reception there and the staff member just pointed back where we’d come from and said ‘reception’. Not a greeting or a smile between them, or the guy who gave us the buggy. Appeared the only interest was in the predominantly German hotel guests and no courtesy shown at all for visitors from elsewhere. The second issue was pace of play. Painfully, painfully slow and absolutely no regard for groups following. Ignored at tees and anywhere else’s on the course. A round for three of us with buggies took over 4 1/2 hours, which is unheard of in Belek in my experience. If you want to try a harder course on your trip, give it some consideration. But expect it to be a long day with little enthusiasm shown for you being there. The only exception was the two girls who worked in the bar/restaurant. The first smiles we saw all day there and the only ones who got tipped just for being pleasant and friendly
