Nicklaus Course

Ask a group of golfers to name three legends of the game and it’s pretty likely that you will receive this as a response: Nicklaus, Palmer, Watson. And the Reunion Resort has courses designed by each. If that’s not reason enough to visit, then we don’t know what is.

The Golden Bear’s contribution to the golfing landscape of Reunion is no mere point-and-shoot target layout; this 7,219-yard Nicklaus Signature Design is a genuine challenge and one of the best courses in Orlando. The layout is parkland in style and with small greens that will demand accuracy above all else. The Nicklaus Course is restricted to resort guests and members, and was ranked 17th in Golfweek’s Top 100 Courses You Can Play in Florida.

Watson Course

Also featured in the Golfweek list, the Watson Course is a true reflection of the character and game of its designer. The Signature Tom Watson Design is not particularly long – 7,154 yards from the medal tees – but is a strategic test that will test every shot in the bag. The windswept, local grasses give Watson’s creation a rugged feel, the ideal contrast to superbly manicured fairways and greens.

Palmer Course

If there’s one course that stands out at Reunion, you may say it is Arnie’s. The Palmer is routed over unique humps and bumps, hollows and swales, creating an incredible visual effect and making for a few challenging lies. Measuring under 7,000 yards, the Palmer will not overpower visitors, but play here during your golf holiday and you will have to be creative and imaginative in a way that many Florida golf courses will not demand.

Reunion Resort is also home to the signature ANNIKA Academy, a comprehensive tuition facility that can be included as part of your stay.

You'll find yourself surrounded by some of the most stunning signature holes in all of Florida, showcasing the beauty of the Sunshine State at every turn.

The resort showcases the very best of Florida Hospitality and no real need to leave the resort whilst you are there. Great practice facilities make for a real golfers paradise trip.

Accommodation at Reunion Resort

Reunion is less a resort and more a resort village, and nowhere is this more evident that in its accommodation. As opposed to a central hotel, Reunion guests will be lodged in one of the resort’s collection of apartments, each one located in a low rise block affording views of the estate. In this sense, guests enjoy space and freedom, not to mention comfort.

Friends and families travelling in groups of four or more will particularly appreciate the accommodation options at Reunion as they will provide ample space to relax together in spacious living areas.

The apartments (referred to at the resort as Villas) come with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms and while they are not bedecked with the luxurious extras you may expect of a five-star hotel, they have everything that you could wish for to make for a comfortable stay; fully equipped kitchens mean that you can be independent with wining and dining, while the living areas are complemented by high speed internet access and cable television.

Food & Drink

Having the option of cooking is nice, but Reunion has a wonderful collection of restaurants to choose from. Eleven, set on the 11th floor, is a spectacular place to stargaze and savour a cocktail, while our favourite onsite restaurants include Forte for its flavoursome Italian menu and the Clubhouse, whose offerings will no doubt suit golf groups perfectly.

Leisure Facilities

For relaxation, Reunion guests can choose one of the indulgent massages, enjoyed either in a treatment room or the comfort of their suite, and there’s plenty more on offer too.
