Stranraer Golf Club is situated on the banks of the beautiful Loch Ryan in South West Scotland. Throughout the course you are blessed with fantastic views across the Loch, with water coming into play on several of the holes.
The modern clubhouse's first floor bar and lounge are the perfect place to relax after your round, with panoramic views across the course and Loch.
2 Nights, 3 Rounds
Designed by the world renowned golf architect James Braid, Stranraer Golf Club is just over 6,300 yards from the back tees. With undulating fairways and mature tree lined fairways, Stranraer provides a great test for all golfers. The signature hole is most certainly the par four - 5th hole, 'Cornura', an accurate tee shot is required from an elevated tee, any shot leaking right will be sure to end up in the Loch!

The wind plays a definite part in how you play this course .There are some tricky holes but overall I would recommend a visit . The welcome we received from the Manager was much appreciated

Unfortunately we played in driving rain and wind , we still enjoyed it despite that, people very welcoming and would be happy to go back
