This is included with all our relevant packages and gives you peace of mind that all your monies are protected and that we are responsible for all aspects of your holiday under the Package Travel Regulations.

As travel has now resumed, planning your next golf holiday should be a source of inspiration and excitement, but making sense of the current regulations, we know can feel like a headache.

We’re committed to giving you extensive choice and flexibility for any trip you book before 30th August and travel before 31st December 2021.

When you come to pay your final balance, we’ll check that your trip meets the following requirements for you to be able to travel.

If it doesn’t, we’ll give you the best options for how to change your plans:

• Your destination is on the government’s green or amber traffic-light list.
• Current FCDO advice allows travel to your destination.
• Your destination allows entry to UK visitors.
• The experience you’ll have during your trip meets our high standards.
• You have been advised on all testing criteria or vaccine requirements.

If your destination is on the green list

We realise that you might not be comfortable travelling even if the destination is green. You can still choose to postpone your trip at the point your final balance up to 14 days prior to travel (except in circumstances where we have prepaid a supplier, and we’ll only pass on any seasonal increases or cost changes arising from different hotel choices, flight prices or golf tee times etc or allow you to take a full travel credit under our Flexible Guarantee.

If your destination is green but doesn’t allow visitors (or we deem the experiences you’d have are too restricted), we’ll offer you the choice to postpone your trip, take a refund credit note and then receive a full refund.

If your destination is on the amber list

If your destination is on the amber list when it’s time to pay your final balance up to 14 days prior to travel, we’ll offer you the choice to postpone your trip to another date, change your destination or receive a full travel credit note.

For amber destinations, if FCDO advice and the destination you’re visiting allow travel, and you want to travel, your golf travel specialist will talk you through all the testing requirements and quarantining rules so you feel fully comfortable to travel as well as offer advice on our insurance partners that cover Covid-19.

If your destination is on the red list

If your destination is on the red list when it’s time to pay your final balance up to 14 days before the date of travel, we’ll offer you the choice to postpone your trip, change your destination or take a refund credit note and then receive a refund. You can pay your balance with confidence

If your destination changes from the green list to amber list after you’ve paid your final balance, we’ll give you the option to postpone your trip, change your destination, only passing on any seasonal increases or changes in costs arising from different hotel choices, flight costs, round of golf etc. Every golfing trip that we create is different, and a refund credit note and full refund will depend on the payment policies of our suppliers. Your golf travel specialist will talk you through this when it’s time to pay your final balance.

If your destination changes from amber to red after you’ve paid your final balance, we’ll give you the option to postpone your trip, change your destination, take a refund credit note and then receive a full refund.

Should FCDO advice change, international borders close, or a lockdown come into force in the destination, we’ll also offer you all available choice as well as a refund credit note and a refund.
