We understand that everything feels a little unpredictable at the moment, so our Flexibility Guarantee means that when you book a trip with us between 15th March and 31st October 2020, if you need to move your trip we won't charge you a fee to change the dates (travel dates may be moved to departures up to 31st December 2021). We can also provide you with a travel credit towards your next booking instead if you prefer.
Please note that any supplier change and cancellation fees or price differences (from our travel partners) will be passed on unless stated.
Deposits start from just £35 per person in the UK & Ireland, £50 per person in Europe and 10% on long haul or tournament bookings.
If the FCO further changes its advice on travel
If the FCO updates its guidance further to advise against all but essential travel to any destination you’re visiting, we’ll give you a full travel credit*. You can put your credit toward another YGT trip for at least the same value of your break or holiday.
Our cancellation terms have always provided our customers with maximum flexibility and will continue to do so. Irrespective of FCO advice, we'll give you up to an average of 80% refund up to 42 days before you're due to travel, should you need to cancel your trip:
• More than 42 days prior to departure - Loss of full deposit paid (a minimum of 10% of the booking value) plus any additional cancellation charges from the supplier(s) (up to 100% of booking value).*
• 41-29 days inclusive prior to departure - £50 administration fee per person plus loss of full deposit paid (a minimum of 10% of the booking value) and any additional cancellations charges from the supplier(s) (up to 100% of booking value).*
• 28-0 days inclusive prior to departure – Full value of booking.
*Where suppliers (e.g. airlines) will allow postponement of your trip but not a refund, we will allow this deferral to another and only pass on airline and ground supplier charges where they are applied as per our notes above.
