Golf Club du Coudray is nestled in the French countryside facing the regal forest of Rougeau, just half an hour from Paris, and has been established for over 50 years. It was originally a 9-hole track designed by the golf course architect Kenneth Charles Cotton of Reading. However in the early 70’s a further 9-holes were added by the green keeper Pierre Bouchez to complete a full 18-hole golf course.

0800 043 6644The course at Golf Club du Coudray is named “Les Marronniers” (“The Chestnut”), a par-71 layout that stretches to 6,300 yards from the back pegs. It offers both an enjoyable and varied challenge especially for your short game. The undulating fairways, lined by magnificent oak trees, are always in perfectly manicured condition as are the greens, which are among the best in the whole of France.
As well as the main 18-hole course there is also a 9-hole track named La Guiche. This compact course is open to all, allowing beginners and young children to learn the game of golf without the need for a green card or minimum handicap. Additionally La Guiche offers the ideal place for golfers to improve their short-game.
The marvellous Clubhouse at du Coudray was constructed by architect Henry Pottier. The 1960’s style building is home to the lobby, lounges (including one for bridge players), bar, great restaurant and well presented changing rooms. It also provides a terrific terrace which overlooks the course, making an ideal place to enjoy a refreshing drink on a warm summer’s day.
