Golf de Andratx is one of Mallorca's newer layouts and it's a brilliant addition if you fancy something with real movement underfoot. Set into the dramatic southwest terrain, the course leans into the natural contours, so you'll find plenty of uneven lies, uphill approaches and downhill tee shots that keep you thinking from the first swing.
Fairways roll across some punchy elevation changes, so club selection matters and it pays to pick smart targets rather than simply fire at every flag. The greens are kept to a very high standard through the season and tend to run true, with enough slope and subtle breaks to make a good read worth its weight in gold.
Conditioning is a real highlight here. From tee to green the surfaces are tidy and dependable, with fairways that encourage a proper strike and rough that's penal without feeling unfair. The challenge comes mainly from the land shape, wind and green complexes rather than gimmicks. On the more exposed holes you'll often have to flight it down, shape it into the wind and accept that par is a very good score.
Several holes open up to cracking Mediterranean views, which makes it a great pick for groups who want a course that feels different to the flatter resort options on the island. It's worth adding to a Mallorca rota if you're looking for variety alongside the established names.

The mountain views are spectacular, while everything from the crystal white sand to the manicured tee boxes indicates the care and attention to detail that has gone into making Andratx such an outstanding new venue.
With great links to the major focal points of the island's South-Western corner, this is a great choice for a round during your golf holiday.

The course was stunning and in great condition, quite challenging for a few of the party with higher handicaps however they thoroughly enjoyed. Pace was quite quick as it was busy

Can see that the course should be lively but at present really it is in very bad condition. Not sure what has happened to the fairways but parts of them are just mud.

Fairways were being reseeeded and a lot were muddy with little grass. So it will recover. Practice facilities are about 1/2 mile from the clubhouse, even the putting green - nowhere for a quick put close to the 1st T. Biggest issue was the speed of play - we were out for 6 hours. V slow group 2 before us - not a Marshall in sight to hurry them up!

Very enjoyable round, albeit a bit slow. Very scenic and in very good condition. I am a 17 handicapper but didn’t find it too difficult. Not easy either. Very good pro shop and bar area. Friendly helpful staff.

Tough tight course. Need to play your a game. Green were bad condition and they have been prepped for a months time. Would like to play again.

Was sold to me as a decent course, highlight was the food at the halfway hut which was excellent. When you tee up with a driver and the grass is half way up the ball you know the mowers haven’t been out for a few days, and I’ve never gone 800 meters from a green to the next tee before. Would not recommend or revisit.

Again, gone down hill, as this course a couple of years ago was tip top
