Fantastic

Enjoyable round...18th was difficult

Course was enjoyable and we were paired with a lovely couple from Switzerland which made for a pleasant day. Considering how much we paid for the round there were no branded extras on the starting tee which was a shame.

Great golf course.

Nice course but greens had lots of damage.

Nice welcome, good service on course and off, facilities very good.

The course is not hard nor easy, beautiful backdrops under the skylines and vista of the extraordinary homes! The greens were being renovated quite extensively which was noisy and a bit invasive. The bag team were standard welcome but gave the impression we were not a priority unlike the members. Driving range overall excellent with again the dramatic backdrop of the skyline. The course was made difficult by the searing heat which June presents which is fine, the course Marshalls were active and to be fair good, outstanding service from Mr Radan the drinks and beverage man on the course who really made our day better with his warm manner and cold drinks and towels! On returning we took lunch in Monty’s where the food and service were first class and good value. My one gripe was that the bag team somehow failed to stow and repack my cap and shades which yes were my responsibility but the heat and fatigue clouded my actions in stowing them after the round safely.At my own expense I returned to the club to search for the missing items which inexplicably had gone missing , overall staff across front and back of house seemed disingenuous and not bothered, I still fail to see how they weren’t stowed with our bags as was the case with the other two clubs. An email asking for help has gone ignored and unresponsive… very disappointing we wouldn’t be putting this club on the list for a return visit

Course not in great condition .

The favourite of the three courses we played, the club has been there since 2002 so is not blighted with incessant construction noise and building like the other two we played - Trump and Dubai Hills. There was some work going on but nothing compared to the other two. There was a mix up with our tee time but the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodated us playing from the 10th so we didn't have to wait, course wasn't busy, has great views of Dubai, immaculate greens and fairways, a fair bit of water, very picturesque, we would play again.

Nice course, good for all standards. Although quite long it remained playable for the average golfer and enjoyable. Sadly greens weren’t of the standard of the other courses we played

My third favourite of all we played, but still a lovely course and great condition. Quite a way from some greens to tees, but great back drops of the city on some hole. Greens very challenging, but entertaining. 18th hole is a card wrecker - beware and be sensible if you have scored well! No water bottle given at this course (shame - its the little things!) Lol! But still very well looked after

Biggest advantage is location Nice course but there are better around not to say this one is poor but it's not a stand out

Can't fault this course. Beautiful surroundings and challenging without being too demanding.

From start to finish was spot on.

Greens lacked attention, but more attractive course with some signature holes. Excellent staff and vg lunch at reasonable price.

Greens were in terrible condition. They were covered in sand and made putting impossible. Fairways in good condition and facilities are good but the greens completely ruined the experience. Avoid this course. We played 5 different courses and this is the only one I wouldn’t play again

Superb course! Great views of the city.

This course has a lovely backdrop of the marina. Great driving range/ buggies and clubhouse. Another beautiful course.

Challenging course with do or die on the 18th!

We really enjoyed our time our time at the Montgomerie. Lay out and condition of the course was excellent. The greens were in the very good condition and a fair golf test. Food was brilliant. Just wished we could have had more round there. Great experience.

All round good experience to play this course

Very attractive course which we enjoyed. Only downside was the fertiliser on greens which gave off a foul smell.

Loved the challenge but nearly 5 hrs, very slow golfers in front and not good finishing in the dark ???

My husband and sons really enjoyed playing this course and highly rated the practice facilities. My husband felt this was the best of the 3 courses they played.

Probably the best course I have played, fantastic layout superb greens and excellent backdrop. Service was superb and overall great experiance
