Gloria Old Course is one of Belek's best-known rounds and, I'll be honest, it's the kind of place that quickly turns into a "must replay" for golf groups. It's a classic, tree-framed parkland layout where you'll score far better by picking sensible targets than by swinging out of your shoes. There's water throughout the routing too, so you're thinking about club choice not just from the tee but into plenty of greens as well.
If you're staying at the Gloria hotels, the logistics are easy. The Old Course is only a few hundred metres from Gloria Verde and about five minutes on the internal shuttle train or a short drive from Gloria Serenity and Gloria Golf Resort. With the New Course and the 9-hole Verde course on site, you've got genuine variety for a long weekend or a full week's golf without spending your holiday sat in a transfer.
It's also a venue with proper pedigree, having hosted events including the World Amateur and seniors-level tournament golf. So, while it's playable for most handicaps, expect a fair test in excellent condition, particularly on the Bermuda fairways and greens.
Who is this for?
Golfers based at the Gloria properties who want a well-kept parkland course with water in play and straightforward on-resort access. It suits groups, couples and societies looking for variety across multiple rounds in Belek.
Who is it best for?
Mid to low handicappers who enjoy plotting their way round, shaping tee shots and trusting their wedges when the lakes start asking awkward questions. The water hazards and tree-lined corridors reward accuracy, and the greens are quick enough to test your short game.

Old Course, Gloria Resort
For Gloria's Old Course, a local Turkish construction team worked in consultation with international experts to realise the design of French architect Michel Gayon. The result is a 6,759 yard gem, whose Bermuda fairways and greens, which surround some 7 lakes, have recently been reworked to improve their condition.
In keeping with the outstanding quality of the new developments that have catapulted Belek to the forefront of holiday golf, Gloria's Old Course is as beautiful as it is challenging. Fantastic water hazards and perfectly manicured putting surfaces are among the array of attractive features that make Gloria's Old Course one of the most celebrated and desirable courses in Turkey.

We also played the old course, and our experience was quite similar to the new course overall. The layout is excellent, with some truly spectacular holes—particularly the par 3s, which really stood out. One of the longer par 3s nearly gave us a hole-in-one, which was definitely a highlight of the round.
We did find the old course slightly more challenging than the new one, although the windy conditions on the day likely played a part in that. It certainly added an extra level of difficulty and kept things interesting throughout.
As with the new course, there are a few areas where course conditions could be improved, but the overall design and variety of holes made it an enjoyable experience.
One feature that really deserves a mention is the driving range. It’s the biggest TrackMan range we’ve ever seen, with at least 56 bays available. A fantastic facility and a great place to warm up or spend some extra time practicing.
All in all, a very enjoyable round with some memorable moments, especially on those standout par 3 holes.

Excellent tough course, which if you got through the first 4 holes intact would add to your enjoyment.
Definitely play again along with the New Course.
