Your Golf Travel Ambassador
We're thrilled to have 2016 Masters and Ryder Cup player Danny Willett as our Ambassador, bringing Your Golf Travel customers, the very best golf holidays and deals at fantastic destinations across the globe.
Before turning professional, Danny Willett won the English Amateur and was the No. 1-ranked amateur in the world. He now has a total of 8 professional wins including a Major in 2016 when he became the first English golfer, since Nick Faldo, to win The Masters. His bogey-free final-round 67 helped him secure a three-stroke victory just days after the birth of his first child.
The 2016 season proved to be his most successful so far, rising to number 7 in the World Rankings as he added the Dubai Desert Classic, a 2nd place at the Italian Open and a 3rd place at the BMW PGA Championship to his Masters win. His most recent win was at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St. Andrews in October 2021 on his 34th birthday.
❝Danny is a great addition to Team YGT. His experience of winning at Augusta will provide unique insight for our clients attending The Masters and we're looking forward to working with him and seeing him have another fantastic year on the course.❞

Danny made his first appearance at The Masters in 2015, finishing +1 for a share of 38th place with the likes of Bubba Watson and Adam Scott. He followed this with what is probably his best win of his career so far, shooting a bogey-free final round to secure a three shot victory over Lee Westwood and Jordan Spieth.
Spieth led the tournament from the first round and built a five-shot lead with 9 holes to go but dropped six shots, including a 7 at the 12th, to finish three behind the winner.
