Designed by Jimenez himself. Beautiful surroundings and again made very welcome. More open course than the Calanova but again did not disappoint. Some spectacular holes and my wife and I both loved our day at the Guadalhorce. It is a very busy course and from out experience the put groups out on back nine as well as front nine. This made the back nine really slow BUT it did not ruin the day. Another gem of a course.
Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf is a firm favourite for golfers wanting a traditional golf course that is an enjoyable place to play. Located just 15 minutes from Malaga, this can be a good place to start or end your golf trip in Spain with it being so close to Malaga Airport.
Expect two very different nine holes of golf with the opening nine meandering through mature Andalucian countryside whilst the back nine requires great course management with the need to navigate numerous water hazards.
Regardless of your handicap. Lower handicappers will enjoy the opportunity to make a few birdies whilst higher handicappers can reach plenty of the par-4's and 5's in regulation.
Located within easy reach of the likes of Alhaurin, La Cala and Torrequebrada Golf, Guadalhorce can form part of a great golf trip in Spain.
