4 Nights, 3 Rounds
- 4 Nights All Inclusive at Pickalbatros Hotel Du Golf
- 2 Rounds at Pickalbatros Golf Club
- 1 Round at Royal Marrakech Golf Club
4 Nights, 3 Rounds
Set in Marrakech's laid-back Palmeraie district, Pickalbatros Hotel Du Golf is a smart five-star base if you want easy golf, proper resort facilities and the Medina within quick striking distance. You've got that classic Moroccan styling, a bit of art deco polish and, most importantly, plenty of space to switch off between rounds.
The Atlas Mountains views are a nice bonus on clear days, and the set-up works well for a hassle-free break: pools for post-round downtime, a big spa when your back reminds you you've played 36, and enough dining options that groups won't end up arguing about where to eat.
Golf-wise, you're only a few hundred metres from the Pickalbatros Golf Club, which makes early tee times far less painful than they usually are on a city break. Marrakech centre is about 15 minutes away, so you can do the souks and the sights without giving up the peace and quiet at the hotel.
Who is this for?
Couples and small groups who want a five-star resort feel, easy access to golf and a proper spa day built into the trip.
Who is it best for?

The hotel's 315 rooms and suites offer a sensible blend of contemporary style and comfort. Each space is designed to be a peaceful retreat, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the room with light and a private furnished balcony or terrace offering views across the lush gardens, the inviting pool area or the golf course.
Rooms are well appointed with modern amenities, including air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a spacious private bathroom, ensuring a restful stay after a day of golf or exploration. Choose from Deluxe Rooms with various views or upgrade to a more expansive Spacious Room for an extra touch of luxury.
You've got a good spread of options on-site, which is handy for groups. Zest Restaurant & Bar is the main international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you're coming off the course and want something easy, O'live Grill does relaxed poolside lunches. Pasta Cosy is the Italian option in the lobby area, and Jawhara adds another global menu into the mix.
In the evening, the bars are ideal for a post-round drink before heading into town, or for keeping things simple on-site. The variety means you can keep everyone happy across a week without needing to venture out every night.
For those moments off the course, the hotel provides a wealth of facilities for relaxation and recreation. The impressive spa covers 5,200 square metres and is dedicated to wellbeing, where you can completely unwind. Indulge in an authentic Moroccan experience with a visit to the traditional hammam, steam room or sauna before enjoying a pampering treatment.
The spa menu features everything from sports massages and detox wraps to facials and beauty therapies. Beyond the spa, you can take a dip in one of the two sparkling outdoor pools, maintain your routine at the modern fitness centre or simply find a quiet corner in the manicured gardens to soak up the sun.
The big win here is convenience. With Pickalbatros Golf Club a short walk away, you can build a trip around morning tee times and still be back at the pool or spa for the afternoon. It's a strong option for mixed-ability groups because the resort set-up keeps non-golfers happy too, and there's enough going on in Marrakech when you want a change of scene.
The course itself is a well-maintained parkland layout that suits a range of abilities. You'll find enough challenge to keep things interesting without the punishing rough or forced carries that can slow down a society day. Water comes into play on several holes, and the bunkering is fair but strategic, so course management matters more than raw distance.
If you're planning a society trip, the combination of available all-inclusive options, multiple restaurants and easy logistics makes it straightforward to keep everyone fed, watered and on time for the next round. The proximity to the course means you can schedule early starts without the usual transfer stress, and the resort facilities give you plenty to do when you're not playing.
The Pickalbatros Hotel Du Golf enjoys an enviable location within the exclusive Palmeraie region, a beautiful oasis just north of Marrakech. The resort feels a world away from the hustle and bustle, yet is only a 15-minute drive from the city centre and 20 minutes from Marrakech Menara Airport, making it incredibly accessible. A complimentary shuttle service runs to the Djemaa el-Fna square, allowing you to effortlessly explore the enchanting souks, historic palaces and vibrant culture of the Medina whenever the mood takes you.

At Reception we didn't get the room we paid for, we had to ask to change the room. Long wait for the room to be ready. Say's it's a 5 star hotel but it's more like 3 stars. The first night, the service in the restaurant was poor but it did get better as the days went on. On the 2nd day works began so very noisy, no warning and not sure how long this will be going on?

Hotel was reasonably modern, clean and tastefully decorated however it had some negatives: 1. When we arrived, we were not shown around the facilities on offer. 2. 3 of our rooms had a double bed only. When we pointed this out, we were moved to rooms with 2 double beds. This was inconvenient after a day of travelling. 3. The bar staff were slow and inexperienced. The bar was not stocked to Western standards. 4. Reception staff were a little inexperienced and there was some confusion about charging stuff to rooms and arranging taxis to take us to restaurants in the evening. Stuff they should be good at. 5. One of the rooms had a shower that flooded the bathroom every time we showered. When we discovered this, we could not be bothered to get our room changed, as we had unpacked. It was obvious that this was a known fault, yet the room was still being used. 6. Breakfast selection was average. You had to make your own coffee at the automated coffee machines. Our transfers on this trip were a little disappointing. Transfer was late picking us up after the first day of golf and late coming to the hotel for the second day. I complaint to YourGolfTravel by email and the rest of the transfers were fine. Thanks to YourGolfTravel. Also thanks to YourGolfTravel agents for all the pre trip organising and adding tee times for an extra player on 2 days. The team at YourGolfTravel are excellent!

We had the half board option and all was good except the service in most of the restaurants, the staff are a bit like headless chickens trying to cope! The Moroccan restaurant at the golf course was fab and we had attentive service there. Rest are ok, not bad but not the standard they claim to be. Pasta cosy was the worst experience. Hotel breakfast is great and staff are very friendly but need more training. Heck in was poor as they’re didn’t tell us we needed to leave a credit card or explain how the half board option worked. Overall we had a good time but we wouldn’t return.

Apart from ants in the bathroom, which the staff eradicated, the room was large and comfortable.

The twin room facing the pool was very comfortable, the only thing missing was anything in the minibar. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus was a great touch, made things very convenient.
