Tucked into Marrakech's L'Hivernage district, the Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi is a proper five-star base for a Morocco golf break, central enough for a quick hop into the medina, but with the breathing space you want after a day on the course. You're only minutes from the souks and the city's restaurants and nightlife, yet once you step inside the hotel it feels calm, leafy and very much "holiday mode".
Golf-wise, you're well placed for some of Marrakech's most popular tracks. The Montgomerie Marrakech, Al Maaden Golf Resort and Assoufid Golf Club are all within easy reach by transfer, so you can keep the logistics simple and focus on the important stuff, like tee times, sunshine and a cold drink afterwards.
Design-wise, it's a smart blend of contemporary comfort and Moroccan style. Expect warm tones, traditional tilework and a layout that opens out to oasis gardens and palm-lined paths. The gardens are genuinely impressive, with enough space to make you forget you're in the middle of a bustling city. After a morning battling the wind on a desert parkland layout, this is exactly where you want to be.
At the hotel you'll appreciate being able to get back, dump the clubs and be sitting by the pool within minutes. The hotel has that rare combination of atmosphere, plenty happening on site and a location that lets you do Marrakech properly, whether that's golf, culture or just making the most of the evening buzz.

The Mövenpick Mansour Eddahbi has 503 rooms and suites, with a clean, modern finish and subtle Moroccan touches rather than anything overly themed. Many rooms look out over the gardens, which is a nice way to start the day before you're back on a transfer to the first tee.
Entry-level Classic rooms are 30 square metres and are ideal for solo travellers or couples. You get the essentials you actually care about on a golf break, including a 42-inch HD television, complimentary Wi‑Fi and seriously comfortable bedding for the post-round recharge. They're well laid out and feel bigger than the measurements suggest, which is always a bonus when you're trying to navigate around a golf bag and suitcase.
If you want more space to spread out, Superior rooms come in at 43 square metres and include a private balcony or terrace. It's a handy upgrade if you like to sit outside with a drink, or if you're travelling with a bit more kit. The extra breathing room makes a difference, particularly if you're staying for more than a couple of nights and want somewhere to properly unpack.
Junior Suites offer 50 square metres plus a separate seating area, which works well for friends sharing and gives you somewhere to plan the next day's golf without sitting on the bed. The layout feels more like a small apartment than a hotel room, and the extra space is genuinely useful if you're the type who likes to spread out course guides, yardage books and all the other bits that come with a golf trip.
For groups, the 72 square metre Suites sleep up to four adults, with extra room for luggage and club storage. There's enough space here that you won't be tripping over each other's gear, which is a real consideration when you've got four sets of clubs, four suitcases and all the usual travel clutter. The suites also come with a separate living area, so you can actually have a conversation or a drink without everyone retreating to their own corners.
If you're going all-in, the Penthouses are the headline act at over 290 square metres, sleeping up to four and featuring an expansive terrace and a private infinity pool. They're genuinely spectacular, the sort of space you'd normally associate with a villa rather than a hotel room, and if you're celebrating something special or just fancy treating yourselves, they're hard to beat.
On site, you've also got plenty to keep everyone happy between rounds. The Manso Terrace Bar is a great shout for a relaxed poolside drink and tapas, the sort of spot where you can replay the day's highlights (or lowlights) without having to get changed or venture too far. Marcelona mixes Moroccan and Spanish flavours and does it well, with a menu that works particularly nicely after a day in the sun. Jamra Healthy & Organic is the lighter option if you're keeping an eye on things, and Sarray is a strong pick for groups thanks to its buffet of Moroccan and international dishes. The buffet spread is generous, varied and genuinely useful when you've got different tastes and appetites in the group.
To finish the day properly, the O de Rose Spa includes a jacuzzi, sauna and separate hammams for men and women, plus treatments using Moroccan favourites like argan oil, beldi black soap and rhassoul clay. The masseuses know their craft, and the experience is as restorative as it sounds. After 36 holes in the heat, it's exactly what you need.
The Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi gives you the best of both worlds: a luxurious retreat with all the facilities you need to unwind between rounds, and a location that puts you close to Marrakech's top courses and the energy of the medina. It's a sensible choice for golfers who want more than just a place to sleep.

This hotel was awful The check in and out experience was the slowest I’ve ever experienced. Breakfast was chaos. I would not go back

We really enjoyed this hotel. Great facilities and very friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Great pool and bar and some very good quality restaurants within the hotel. The hotel gardens are beautiful and we would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Marrakesh. After the madness of Marrakesh this is an oasis to return to. I would say this is a very good 4 star to low 5 star hotel.

Hotel was very nice indeed. Service a little slow in the Bars, but apart from that ticked every box.

Nice hotel with a mix of very good to poor customer service. Breakfast buffet was nice but other eating and beverage experiences at hotel were poor. Examples include being charged 100 dirham (~US$10) for a black coffee and dinner order substituted without asking.

Great hotel, in the middle of the courses, airport and the city centre
