Disappointed with the state of the course. Signage could be improved.
Al Maaden is a high end developer of golf resorts, and the association chose Marrakech for its latest project. In an attempt to ensure that the new golf course would be a Moroccan star, they commissioned Kyle Phillips, arguably the hottest designer of the modern era.

Al Maaden Golf Resort Marrakech
The results are spectacular, as Phillips has used his undeniable gift to manipulate the varied terrain, in so creating a course that assimilates perfectly with its surrounding environment. The indigenous foliage punctuates the landscape, where Phillips course is a measured challenge that can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities.
Unlike the great architects other projects, notably Kingsbarns, Al Maaden has not been created with the aim of becoming an international tournament venue. Rather, it is a gem that is sure to be enjoyed by generations of golfers for years to come.

Loved it.
Nice venue but course was a bit in interesting. Could have done with more landscaping
Not a very attractive and interesting course or club house.
Enough variation, without any silly holes, good bunker placement and some water hazards. Beautiful setting with the Atlas Mts. in the distance.
A fairly flat modern layout, with the occasional water tanks acting as obstacles as well as for irrigation. Some may like the idea of driving around on a mini Harley Davidson with a golf bag holder on the back - yes, it's true but we didn't try them.
Firstly the club house here is the most luxurious fantastic club house you will ever come across. The staff were friendly and the views of the Atlas Mountains were breathtaking. The course it’s self was testing and again we played off the back tees. The fairways were decent and the greens were good if not a little slow. I would play this course again if I returned but it was well beaten into second place by Royal Palm (fairmont) which was one of the best courses I have played in the world....outstanding!!!
Played our first round here. Not very busy, course in good condition and club house facilities very good
We enjoyed this course As was a bit more interesting and challenging tho Friday was very busy so a more slower round but as we were on holiday it wasn't a problem Next time for your rounds we will try different ones as we thought playing two twice would be better bit that was not the case.
The course was ok but not as good as Assoufid, Samanah or Ourika.
Tee boxes and greens needed care.
Obviously a fairly new course which is maturing into a fine track. Fairly long from the white tees and enough water to keep things very interesting.
Potentially a good course layout but I think they're lacking in funding and skills to bring the course to life. I wouldn't play it again
The course was in a complete mess
This was our 2nd fav course it was in great condition and a pleasure to play visually great with plenty of water and bunkers and the rough was fairly forgiving the fairways were well presented and the greens straight and true!! There was some confusion from our party as to where the next hole was at times as there didn't seem to be any numbers on the tees but we were enjoying the course so much it didn't really bother us!! We didn't use the practice facilities but I'm sure they were fine!! The 19th hole was well presented with a particularly nice patio area but as wit the other courses the drinks were expensive at £30 for 4 beers!!
