Noria Golf Club, which was designed by the renowned golf course architect Steve Forrest whose work can be found across the globe, is the jewel in the crown of a new family resort which lies in the shadow of the epic snow-capped Atlas Mountains.
The course itself is comprised of 3 distinct loops of 6 (named Garden, Orchard and Dune) each have their very own individual landscape experience – making for a very interesting and enjoyable round of golf.
Noria Golf Club is complemented by a superb practice facility and clubhouse – the focal point for the resort which has been designed by Youssef Meheli, an acclaimed Moroccan architect.
interesting set up, buggies were expensive, but brilliant practice facilities. they could do with a mobile snack bar on the course
We all liked this course,
Played the course in March and was very impressed, this time less so, greens are bare and have been poorly patched in places - holes poorly maintained. Disappointed !
Nice friendly reception from the staff. Course was empty so could go early. Nice looking holes but stray from the fairway the long grass gripped your ball and swallowed it up.
The golf cousre was very good but there was 2 similar short holes almost next to each other. Also inbetween these holes was a par 3 which had a temporary green which we had no idea of the distance. The greens were a bit patchy and it looked as though there was maintenance going on. Finally I found the rough just off some of the fairway not consistent, on some occasion being penalised for being 5 yards off the fairway.
The golf course was good but not as good as the Samanah and the overall experience not as pleasant.
Noria was the worst of the 4 we played
A good starting point and playing level for our six course golf tour.
Staff helpful. On the day I was booked to play it rained and the staff immediately offered me a place for the next day without me having to say anything.
We liked that the range balls were included in the green fee. Good practice facilities, chipping green, putting green. Some of the greens had been hollow tined, which was a disappointment. memorable rectangular greens on the 8th 9th and 18th. Expensive club house. Our transfers were on time and comfortable.
Amazed how quiet the course was. Noria’s greens had recently been spiked so were a little bumpy but the track has some fantastic, unique holes with square greens running alongside the central water basin.
Spectacular club house, great course, very quiet when we played. Highly recommended.
This is a decent golf course, friendly staff, good practice facilities. The fairways and greens were in good condition. Some of the greens were square or rectangular in shape, and some of the water was also in very regular shapes. Overall th course was a reasonable test for our first day. My son wants me to point out that of the three courses we played, Noria did by far the best Club Sandwich.
Lift out of order on second visit, needed to carry two sets of clubs downstairs and no help offered. Played twice, first round average speed but second extremely slow. Course was over populated.
We have now played Noria each of the last 3 years at the same time of year, the condition of the course has improved considerably during this time. We enjoyed lunch on the balcony overlooking the 9th & 18th holes, very good value for money with an excellent view over the course and its unique "square greens"
We virtually had the golf club to ourselves! Great facilities and well looked after. As with all courses here, they change during the day as the heat evaporates the water they need to put on the course each day. Good challenge for a mixed group of golfers.
Again like millionaires golf, played early morning. Buggies essential and again not matched up with anyone. Obviuosly relatively new course and made very welcome. Bar prices reasonable.
Noria was our favourite course it was well presented with great tees fairways and greens this course was an absolute pleasure to play all the holes presented a different challenge with bunkers, water and rough in the rite places if I had to moan about anything some of the bunkers were not In the best condition I.e not enough sand in them but that applies to all the courses we played!! The driving range was 2nd to none with no extra cost!! The 19th hole was a lovely place to be but along with all the courses we played the drinks were expensive at £30 for 4 beers!! In general this is an astounding course and is on par with any of the best courses I've played around the world!
