The course setup and terrace have great views of the Atlas mountains. The welcome at the Proshop good and very professional. All the staff were friendly and worked to ensure everyone enjoyed the visit.
Marrakesh is flat, but Assoufid does have contours, with some elevated tees. Several dog legs and crossings over creeks, which were dry, but if short, you will lose a ball.
The greens, fairways and tees were in a reasonable condition, but there are desert areas from tee to fairway as well as either side of the fairways/greens. Most bunkers are coarse sand. Golf balls did look a little beaten up after a round.
Pretty easy to walk and club has buggies, trollies, and caddies. If in a 2 ball, found a buggy provided somewhere to sit in the shade whilst waiting to take the next shot.
Played three rounds varying from 4:05 hrs to 4:30 hrs. Club do try and pair up to keep it as 4 balls, but pace of play did feel a little slow.
There are toilets on the course which were clean and well maintained, but there is no drinking water anywhere on the course.
Relaxing clubhouse and food/beverages are reasonable cost - Tee times were accurate, therefore giving driver a pickup time of tee time plus 5 hours worked.
