Originally founded in 1813 by members of The Society of St Andrews Golfers, Scotscraig is home to the 13th oldest golf club in the world, and an exceptional golf course. It is more of a cross between links and heathland, but its proximity to the sea ensures it is buffeted by the coastal winds.

With Scotscraig being a Final Open Qualifying venue, it allows for a fabulous test of golf. The course designed by Old Tom Morris, later refined in 1923 by James Braid has benefited from recent investment and careful restoration, enhancing its conditioning and playability, ensuring it meets modern expectations without losing its heritage.
