Son Quint joined the Arabella Golf family in 2007, completing the three-course line-up above Palma. Set in pine-lined hills just outside the city, it's a modern, resort-friendly track that makes the most of the natural rises and dips in this corner of Mallorca.
What I like here is the variety. The routing climbs and drops enough to keep club selection interesting, but there's generally room off the tee for mid-handicappers to swing freely. Water appears on a few holes at exactly the point you'd rather it didn't, bunkers are placed to make you think rather than simply punish, and the greens are big, rippled targets that put a bit of pressure on your distance control and short game.
If you're basing yourself in Palma, Son Quint is the practical pick. You can get a quality round in without losing a day to transfers, then head straight back to the city for beaches, bars and dinner. It also works nicely if you're mixing and matching rounds across the Arabella courses and want something playable that still asks the right questions.

Designed by Kurt Rossknecht and Ramon Espinosa, Son Quint is a formidable proposition from the championship tees, stretching in excess of 7,000 yards.
The course is, however, manageable for the average golfer, which is why it has become such a favourite for regular visitors to Mallorca on a golf holiday. Make sure you take a moment to enjoy the spectacular views of Palma from the 8th and 17th holes.

Played twice and probably in the best condition of the three. Lovely clubhouse and facilities.

I really do not want to comment on the attitude of the waiter in the clubhouse as I will be typing for ever on here although he could do with a retraining course on people management skills he should never be allowed to be near members of the public again. His attitude cost the golf club that day in the region up to near €1000 as there were 20 golfers going to eat and drink there. Alas due to his attitude and shouting at us we took our business elsewhere

Having just had maintenance week the greens werent in good condition ( they had just been hollow tined) which detracted a little bit from the round but the group stated they would love to go back and play when the greens are in their normal condition

May 2026...I play off 11....fantastic course, in great condition, I thought very fair for a 16 man society, buggies were great, the greens were fast but fair, I would recommend any of the Arabella group. I would

Really enjoyed the course however the pace was so slow due to a group in front, two groups waiting on the same tee box towards the end. No marshal to push them on or move aside which was a shame as everything else was really good

Buggy paths remained in use and some of the tees were very poor. Having said that it’s a good test of golf.
