Golf Son Gual

Lovely course but we had lots of rain - would like to play again on a sunny day to judge. Not as scenic as son Muntaner and clubhouse not as good. V nice staff though.

Lovely course, well bunkered, great facilities

We got off to a bad start when the Marshall told us to hurry up after 3 holes. This was nonsense because we were being held up by a fourball in front. We are not slow players and we were a three ball. The rest of our party, a four ball behind us, were told they were 12 minutes too slow after 2 holes!It turns out the fourballs behind us finished half an hour after we did! We found the course was ok but a bit " up and down" with less character than the other courses. It looked magnificent from the bar balcony with sweeping views over the plain.

Great condition. Beautiful course. Wish we could have stayed afterwards for lunch but we had only been allowed a 4 hour slot to play with out transfer having been booked...we were half an hour late for them.....not happy...but either we're we as we had to rush off. Who books 4 hours for 18 holes at a course like this???. Also pick up was half an hour late and the bus smelt of fresh vomit....disgusting.....also no buggy inc tho requested at time of booking......??

Great course and we were really well looked after - definitely our favourite venue.

Thought the course was very interesting, very well looked after and in great condition. the only issue (not a big one) was that it is near the airport. Great for transfers on day 1 or last day, but a bit noisy at times. I live in West London so not a big issue to me!

This is a nice course but still quite difficult for higher handicap golfers. Good facilities

Excellent course and facilities. The best course we played all week and would recommend anyone to play this course.

On arrival no bottled water provided had to buy a bottle of water and then fill up at dispenser again at halfway. Course was on the flight path for Palma airport and a jet took off over our heads every minute for 4 hours making conversation difficult. Not very buggy friendly sometimes taking you off 100 metres from the green when your approach shot could have landed 40 metres ahead of you more of a nuisance than anything. Would not recommend this course to anyone Also a long way from Castillo Son Vida through Palma traffic

Amazing course in incredible condition. I found it very difficult the first time we played it but coped better the second time.

Lovely course and location. Front 9 was a bit painful for pace. Looked like 2 groups of members ahead were really slow 2.5 hours. No marshal to be seen. Great holes lots of elevation changes and course management needed for a first time here.

A beautifully designed course and very picturesque. A long course from the yellow tees which most club golfers would struggle with. In reality the blue tees were still a test and didn’t shorten the course too much. The black & white tees would prove too difficult for most golfers. Drawbacks were the bunkers were far too large and not in good condition. Very compacted and wet. Everything else was good apart from being on the main flight path into Palma airport with a plane overhead every 3 minutes. I would question the worth of the green fee off the road. Staff & facilities (food,drink) were excellent and value for money.

Nice course. Planes flying over all the time as is on flight path so very noisy.

Probably the best condition of the 4 courses and a tough test for many. The par 3 over water - 180 yard carry as an example. The constant aeroplanes flying directly over every 5 mins was the only downside

Good layout, very testing, especially the back 9. Being underneath the flight path close to Palma airport is slight negative.

Great final day course next to airport

Do not make the most of the facilities, with the greeting lacking in comparison to Son Muntaner, as an example. Lots of water but off the yellows doesn’t come into play as much as you would think. More of an Anglo style course, with the grass, and the water as the hazard. Enjoyable, comfortable walk and worth playing. If you like planes, good for plane spotting as in the flight path close to the airport.

Superb course. Tough. Back 9 significantly harder than front 9 due to extra 300 metres so score early. Plenty of bunkers and water so be careful but a must if visiting Majorca. Watch the planes landing!

Nice course. Maybe a bit too long for the high handicapper.

Lovely layout, awful condition and really busy. Tee boxes had more divots than grass, we had to play pick and place on the fairways and greens.

Very good golf course with excellent facilities.

Great course. Food and drink prices at the clubhouse were a joke. Fortunately we were able to get early pick ups from the transfer co so we spent as little time as possible there after the round. Spiked greens dissapointing we should have had a discount.

very slow ,five hour round walking behind buggies with people in who should not have been playing on such a course, not a Marshall in site.

played this golf course a few times and its always been challenging, but its a must. always in excellent condition and facilities are perfect

Be aware this course is 4km from end of the runway at Palma airport and there is 1 aircraft taking off every 4 minutes and flying noisily overhead. Very unpleasant.

Amazing course, lots of challenging bunkers and long par 3s. We visited in March so the fairways were reasonably long but the rest of the course was in great condition

I thought the best of the 3. A proper test of golf. Tee Boxes good, greens in very good condition and a test with some very hard challenging holes. Nearly hit an aeroplane a couple of times with it been next to Palma airport😂

Lovely course but need to hit the fairway,very unforgiving rough lots of water and bunkers. Very helpful/friendly staff but it is right under the flight path behind the airport runway.

Possible 4 ball dancing on greens with mettle spikes !

Incredible layout, amaxing looking and brilliant fairways. Spoilt only by some tatty greens, dead grass. Whole course is under low flying planes on flight path so can be distracting.

Top Course

The severe floods had severely damaged the bunkers (flooded away) and in playable, the green had a disease and were very patchy, not sure was this due to recent flooding etc

The whole facilities at this course are superb, however, with some of our Society members being well into double figure handicaps was generally too difficult for our group. Unfortunately we will not elect to play this course next year.

Play off the whites. The best course in the island.
