The Els Club Dubai

Challenging but great course. Teamed up with a Swiss couple who play the course annually - useful tips as lots of hazards abound. Stuck behind v slow 4 ball initially but course marshalls on the task and arranged for us to play through.. good to see.

Gross 81 which was fantastic and on handicap with adjustments but what a great ambience around the whole club, food and drink prices where great

Lovely course which lived up to its desert links description, we had a windy day so we got the full impact. Greens were fast and pure so you needed to concentrate and read them. The group in front of us lost two holes and although they were warned by the Marshall, nothing changed, this negatively impacted the back nine.

Played many times and it never disappoints

Maintained to perfection, just a fantastic day out, always a pleasure to be there 👍

Course was in great shape. The greens are particularly difficult. clubhouse and facilities were fantastic.

They put the flags in the most ridiculous of places. You get punished for good shots. Course was not great due to the rain, which is not their fault, but it was not great value for money and would have been nice to know before we played.

This was our least favourite but still unreal

Due to the recent rain, some bunkers were flooded. Range was also closed. Despite the heavy rain, fairways n greens were in great condition

This is located in Dubai Sport City. This is a very desert'esq course. Lots of sand everywhere. The course designer went crazy with bunkers!!

Very nice course to play but also very difficult green's are lightning fast 😄

A fantastic golf course in superb condition. A word of warning we chose to play off the black pots which is almost 7600 yard’s and although a great experience probably a bit to much for our level.

Brilliant venue, great course and facilities. Staff were amazing from start to finish, course in great condition again challenging but playable, 216 bar afterwards did great food at very reasonable prices.

Fantastic golf course in superb condition great experience

Whilst not long, this course was made difficult by all the bunkers and many of the greens being upturned saucers with roll off areas, much like a links. I found many of the holes were similar in design as a result and a few days on I am struggling to differentiate many of them in my head. The condition of the course was not what I had anticipated, it clearly gets a hammering from constant usage. Whilst most were repaired there are lots of divots, pitch marks and so on. The food here was absolutely excellent, as were all the staff.

The course has many bunkers and so we didn't plot our way round the course particularly well. Needed to play the course again. The greens were quick and pin position difficult for the average golfer. One disappointment, we were asked by the marshal to quicken up because we had got a little behind the 2 ball in front, we ended up taking 3 hours 50 minutes, which is not bad for a 4 ball in the twilight of life. A bit of thought next time. On a positive the food was excellent.

Good test of golf very enjoyable

This is a lung golf course with tough greens when you play it for the first time. Facilities good. Tee was brought forward by the club and seemed to some confusion when booking in. Overall a great test of golf.

Wonderful experience both on and off the course, great facilities. Nice wide fairways but course got tougher the closer you got to the green.

This was my favourite of the three courses we played during our stay. Great facilities, amazing staff and attention and really nice golf course - tricky greens - very quick!!

The greens at the Els course were very difficult to hold the ball on especially on the front nine. We also had to play with the end of a group of not very fast French players which was disappointing.

Beautiful course - very enjoyable - recommend getting there early to use the practice facilities. Was due to play with two members who refused to play with us but did mean got to play the course by myself. And tip - there is a jacuzzi in mens locker room try make time to use this.

Very enjoyable to play but greens very fast so difficult to score well. We would definitely look to play again when in Dubai.

My husband and sons really enjoyed playing this course and highly rated the practice facilities.

Another superb course in cracking co edition, good test with lots of bunkers and the lions den was a tough few holes, overall excellent.
