The Al Maaden course is characterized by its meticulously maintained fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and beautifully landscaped water features. One unique aspect of the course is the incorporation of rectangular pools, paying homage to the famous Menara gardens of Marrakech.
The results are spectacular, as Phillips has used his undeniable gift to manipulate the varied terrain, in so creating a course that assimilates perfectly with its surrounding environment. The indigenous foliage punctuates the landscape, where Phillips course is a measured challenge that can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities.
Unlike the great architect's other projects, notably Kingsbarns, Al Maaden has not been created with the aim of becoming an international tournament venue. Rather, it is a gem that is sure to be enjoyed by generations of golfers for years to come.

Our second time at Al Maaden and not disappointed……luckily I was away with a friend and not part of a large group so lovely early tee time and a pleasure to play such a great quality course which was quiet and in great condition.

in the top 5 courses i've ever played. Great condition, and practice facilities. interesting holes and an awesome clubhouse. only negative I would give, was the drinks they had. No draught beer, and only a hand full of beers being chilled. the rest they hadn't bothered putting into the fridge and just say in the warm.

Absolutely stunning club house and course, the best we played greens firm n fast but amazing, fairways like carpets, water and bunkers were well placed, club house and building was beautiful, a must play course, overall, amazing..

Course is unbelievable, some great looking holes and could not fault the condition. Only slight problem, the bar staff were slow.

Same thing nobody till around 8 rushed onto the course and then was rude when I didn’t want to pay for a caddy
