The three loops of nine, Donald Steel designed, courses stretch along a wide valley and are naturally sculptured by Mother Nature. The Prime course is regarded as the most difficult, the Challenge offers undulating greens and the Prestige loop, while being shorter, is quite narrow so requires accuracy to score well.

San Lorenzo Golf Course is without doubt one of Europe's best layouts, the course works its way by lakes, pine trees and villas towards the Ria Formosa lagoon. Many of the holes stand out, like the par 5 third which plays out towards the ocean and the 17th which offers classic risk and reward decisions, a good appraoch shot is a must to reach the spectacular semi-island green.

The Pestana Gramacho Residences consist of fully equipped apartments with a communal pool, spacious living areas, bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens. The apartments overlook the stunning Gramacho golf course with the picturesque fishing village of Carvoeiro just a short drive away.

The Gramacho golf course is the sister course of Vale da Pinta and is one of only a few courses in the world with 18 sets of tees and fairways, but with 27 greens. Features of the course include rocky outcrops, dry stone walls, lakes and numerous bunkers. Although well-known as a championship course it is playable for all abilities, even those with a very high handicap.
