Throughout the year, the finest desert golf courses appear on both the PGA Tour and the European Tour. Let's take a closer look at the desert golf coures the pro's will be taking on. Towards the end of January, the European Tour heads east for ever so popular Middle East Swing. A series of three high profile tournaments across Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Qatar.
On The PGA Tour, the likes of Arizona and Nevada are home to some of the world's most spectacular desert courses. In early February, The Waste Management Pheonix Open takes place at TPC Scottsdale which has become one of the PGA Tour's most iconic venues, partly due to the standout short par 3 16th amphitheatre with a 20,000 grand stand capacity.

If the warm Dubai heat during the day is just a little too hot, then night golf is the perfect solution.

Rory played the hole in true Rory style, so have a watch and you'll see what not to do when playing a desert golf course...
